Hello All

Hey friends, just wanted to let you know that I've started a new blog to keep you updated during my travels this coming semester. I'll be leaving on the 18 of January with some friends of mine to spend 5 days in London. On the 23 our group will be flying to Dar es Salaam, the capital of Tanzania. After that we'll be spending a few days at a resort in order to get acclimated t our surroundings. I know, it just sounds like a big vacation, but once we arrive at the campus in Iringa, the work begins. We'll be studying african history, culture, and language. Our accomodations will have us sleeping in tents and doing our laundry in the river. There are also a couple of weeks of home-stay in the local villiages scheduled during our stay. I'm incredibly excited and as preparations for the trip continue, I'm hit a little more with the fact that in a few weeks I'll be living in another continent. For those of you at Houghton, I'll be back to visit a couple of times before I leave.
